Formed in 2024, the Houston Crescent was designed to be a source of news for the Greater Houston Muslim community. The newspaper is primarily written and edited by youth but submissions by adults are welcome!

The Crescent covers local events and news stories that affect our community. The paper also features spotlights on local luminaries and community organizations as well as reflections on life and faith by our writers. Reviews of restaurants and media as well as recipes are also featured.
